This program takes the private lesson experience and takes out the built in formula for keeping kids in weekly lessons for years and years. No memorizing. No cheat stickers taped on each piano key. No tricks, just genuine long-term learning.

Each activity within a lesson is planned out based on Movement Theory, the psychological finding that memory and movement are linked. So in this context of learning the piano, it means there will be lots of movement built into the lessons - perfect for kids full of energy... which ...are pretty much all kids.

There are 30 lessons between the three Junior Prodigy piano books. Depending on how fast (or slow) you and your child choose to go, your child can be playing the piano and reading sheet music in under two months of practice. The method of learning used in the guided piano lesson curriculum are based on practices used in early childhood research settings. As the author of these activity books, I recommend doing each 20 minute lesson five times a week. The faster you move through the practice sessions and piano lessons, the better your child will pick up and retain the information versus if you and your child moved at a slower pace such as once or twice a week. But no pressure! Whether you choose to leisurely go through the lessons or complete the curriculum in under two months, three lessons a week is better than two. And two is better than one. And one lesson a week is better than nothing when it comes to cognitive benefits of learning an instrument at an early age.

We're just here to show you how simple it is to teach your child how to play the piano even with zero musical experience.
